No paw print is so tiny on this earth that doesn’t leave footprint on someone’s heart. Reality of life is that joy, sadness, love and grief intertwined. With fragile beauty of life, we have to learn to find light in darkness, how to completely live and love, and realising that the bond of true love we have with our pets never dies – they lived inside of you. We must treasure those special memories we have with our loved ones including our fur babies, as well as the life we have lived with them.
Many of us share an intense love and bond with our animal companions. For us, a pet is not “just a dog” or “just a cat,” but rather a beloved member of our family, bringing companionship, fun, and joy to our lives. The pain of loss can often feel overwhelming and trigger all sorts of painful and difficult emotions.
I know and fully experienced tremendous, excruciatingly painful grief when losing Zucky from HCM (Hyperthrophic CardioMyopathy) or Saddle Thrombus. His passing gives me greatest sorrow. It was the saddest time of my life. I have never loved so much a cat that it gives me immense grief when losing him and took me a long time to process this grief.

Zucky left his ‘furless’ suit and transition into another state of existence last Aug 29, 2022. In honour of him, I started my YouTube channel two months before the first year anniversary of his passing. To honour and celebrate his eight years of life, I’ve posted my remembrance for each day, each year of his life in the eight days coming up to the anniversary of his passing. That was my healing journey through my loss and immense grief. He may have only lived for short 8 years but his memories will live on through his YouTube videos and through my arts. He’s no longer by my side, but he’ll always be in my heart. He will live inside of me.
As the Queen Elizabeth’s quoted “Grief is the price we pay for love.”

To commemorate and remember his life and the forever love that I have for him, I have created Photographic tribute of his life and love through my art. One way I will always remember his brief but significant existence is by including him in my artwork and photos. All those times I had to leave him to pursue my photography, he was always with me on those places. Now, even though he’s gone, he will still be with me on those places that I have travelled through those photographs.
If you also like to Immortalize your transcended Pets or fur/furless baby through arts, You can purchase any of my art and request personalization to include photographic tribute of your most beloved pet, as I what I have done here with Zucky.
TAKE NOTE: My photographs can be purchase with or without Zucky

Dr Zenaidy Castro is a founder of Vogue Smiles Melbourne, a private Dental practice based in Melbourne CBD, Australia. Prior to working in photography, her artistic journey involved exploration and experimentation with painting a wide variety of subject matter, ranging from organized still life to landscape, to life drawing, to portraits, to abstract..She also worked in a wide range of styles, interests, and themes, as well as in a variety of media, and was influenced by many artistic styles. Her creative process seems like a yin and yang, with a strong passion for each end of the colour spectrum—from black and white to art that displays a visual feast of colour..These different parts of her artistic persona balance each other. She feel strongest consistent love of abstract art—in all of its different forms, be it a real painting or digital art or in photography. She love the creative process involved in searching your imagination for inspiration. She love the vibrancy and colour explosion in abstract works, which expresses mood and infuses the art with life of its own, built upon richly coloured paint and a wide rangeof textural effects, painting strokes, and styles..She always seek inspiration by how something so small and seemingly insignificant can be transformed into something big and beautiful and full of life with colour, forms, lines, and light. She like that the unfolding of things—with different perspective and imagination—will begiven a chance to turn into something beautiful..She love her artistic journey of creating and improvising something, from simple realistic images to abstract renditions, and ending up with something entirely different. Perhaps this isher personal “handwriting” of art—her share of the world’s visual language..READ MORE
